Which number are you calling Allsorts and if you don’t mind me asking is it a pension query?

Just looked up how to contact ... seems quite expensive phoning , unless there is a free/ cheaper phone number ... failing that have different address for different departments/queries may be worth just having a look

It's self assessment, the call charges per minute, I checked first are 12 p per minute, they keep you hanging on but you don't get through. Tried different days, odd times. No difference. You open an account on line, that was stressful, but no answers yet to my query, I don't think I will be using on line again. There are no offices you can go to any more, you can't e mail them, but they can e mail you if there was a query. How on earth people manage when really old I dread to think.

0300 numbers cost the same as 01 numbers and are included as such on any packages you might be on.
I always make a point of checking the opening hours of any company and calling either as soon as they open or late in the day as some remain open until 8pm.
Also check if your mobile free calls includes 0300 numbers.

Just spotted you say it is a self assessment enquiry. The number is 0161 931 9070.

0300 200 3310 and 0161 931 9070 are the self assessment general enquiries numbers.

0300 200 3600 and 0161 930 8455 is the self assessment online services number.

According to Google.

There is also a self assessment chat line. I’ve used it but can’t remember how to access it.
