Travel insurance for cruising

We have our annual travel insurance through our Nationwide FlexPlus bank account, which we opened for this purpose.
We pay £13 a month which includes annual worldwide travel insurance, car recovery service and mobile phone insurance.

For the health insurance if you have any medical conditions or medications you have to ring and discuss this with them.
They charge a supplement for my husband's medication (blood pressure and cholesterol) of £56 for the year but not for mine (asthma).
The cruise "add on" last year was £40, we were away for a week.
We're both under 70 still and I know they charge an extra premium then.

I'd never thought of it like that. It's hardly a dangerous adrenaline type of holiday. You're probably safer on a cruise than driving yourself or jumping on and off trains. Interesting. Sorry, I can't help!

Phone your Travel Insurance provider and ask them, they might want to know which countries you will be visiting

Generally it more expensive due to the extra costs incurred in case of medical treatment required....far more expensive to fall ill at sea than on land ....hence the extra cost
