A little more about me.

I am very happily single and live in the far South of England. I am fortunate in having a loving extended family.
I own my own home and currently have an older relative living with me.

I retired fully in June 2023. I continued to work part-time for seven years after taking my occupational pension.
My income now comprises of my occupational pension, my recently started state pension and a small monthly annuity payment. I have enough to meet my needs.

I do not have a large amount of savings, but am not quite destitute lol!
I also have a few thousand pounds in Premium Bonds. Still waiting for a prize greater than £50!

I am quite a modern man I enjoy wearing smart clothes. I like to look and smell good! . That includes regular visits to hairdressers, chiropodist and dentist lol

I exercise daily as well as walking and swimming. I try to keep mentally alert too! 42 years of working with teenagers (and how great they have all been) has kept me sharp and very good at banter!!!

Looking forward to commenting more on various threads in this section of the forum.

my thought exactly welbeck. Grooming comes to mind. We were warned about this sort of grooming when action fraud came to give us a talk. Very strange

Strange preoccupation. Most people probably consider their finances to be private, their own business.

I welcome posts from men on this forum and as an early retiree am interested in how others budget and manage their finances.
However I do think you may need to rethink your username " BJ " Paul , and also how you word your posts so they dont sound like a dating profile .
