Before you call them have a look round and see if there’s a better deal. When you make that call tell them what you can get elsewhere.
We told virgin where to put their deal about 3 years ago.
Had an aerial fitted which came with receiver box and then got a good internet deal with 3. That’s about £25 per month.

Well done for noticing the ‘small print’ at the end of the bill. Lots wouldn’t.

Yes I think I better had Barleyfields. I am feeling a bit ripped off!

Thanks for your reply.

It sounds like two increases, one in February which they have already quantified and one in April based on February’s RPI figure (as yet unknown of course). I suggest you call them and ask them to clarify.

Hello all.

I have just received my latest bill along with information that my bill will be going up by £15 a month from February. While I am considering what to do, I noticed the following at the bottom of the bill.

*Monthly price of Virgin Media’s main services and O2 Airtime Plan will increase each April from April 2025 by the Retail Price Index rate of inflation announced in February each year plus 3.9%. Doesn’t apply to any add-ons you may have selected, out-of-bundle charges or admin costs, which may increase separately. See virginmedia.com/prices and o2.co.uk/prices for details.

Is this on top of the £15 a month increase? Sorry, I am bit clueless sometimes when it comes to bills.
