Side and rear extensions, he says if i dont sign i won’t be covered if anything goes wrong

What is it exactly that they want to build?

Been served a 6(1) party wall notice no one i know has had one although they have had extensions buikt next door but now it seems everyone gets them. People next door doing everything on the cheap and pestering me to sign. Anyone tgat can advise please.
