I have a D46P to fill in for a renewal of driving licence post 70
This might be a question from a thickie but I am not sure and I dont want to get it wrong. I have to fill in the paper copy because I dont have a passport so I cannot do it online as I have to also renew the photo. It wont accept online applications as I need a new picture and the DVLA wont do this online. ( the nearest post office for this now is around 40 mile away as none of the local ones do it. Its easier to just get a picture ( already done via one of those online companies) and send it off.
I need to fill in the form. Section 1 says I dont have to fill in details of my name and address unless they have changed . It doesnt mention date of birth ( which isnt on the form but is correct on my driving licence) or place of birth. Do I have to put these in or not?
I am not bothering with C1 or anything as I never used them anyway. My eyesight is good and I have got anything wrong with me medically.
Oh, and sods law, I have mislaid my licence. Its somewhere in the house, but I cant find it ( put it away "Safe" after last election when used as ID and now lost it ) so I cant send it back - so I have to tell them its lost is that right?
Daft questions I kn ow but it would help if someone has dont this and can tell me. Thanks in advance.
