Energy Costs Up Again 1st January.

I agree, nobody appears to care about what energy costs. I do because it is becoming unaffordable.

I live alone and find my bills going up because of the standing charges each month despite using less. Sheer greed on the part of the utility companies. I use what I need to keep myself warm and if i do ever find i cant pay at the end of the month they can do one and take me to court!

My standing charges are often higher than the gas or electricity used in the summer which I think is very unfair . I think my charges for electricity is approx 55p per day and gas 35/ 45p per day . With Octopus energy . Surely this could be reduced . I have been into homes of friends which are sooo cold and they are afraid to turn heating on or up .
