Hi everyone,
I’m posting from Mediate UK, a family mediation service that works with families across England and Wales.
We support many parents and grandparents affected by separation and divorce, and we hear how worrying it can be when family changes impact children and grandchildren.
To try to help, we’ve recently published a free 90-page divorce and separation guide, written in plain English. It’s designed for anyone who feels unsure where to start and covers:
- how the divorce process works in England and Wales
- child arrangements and co-parenting (including wider family considerations)
- finances and property in straightforward, non-technical terms
- alternatives to court, such as mediation
- the emotional and practical side of family breakdown
There’s no charge and no obligation to use our services, it’s simply an educational resource that we wanted to make freely available to anyone who might find it helpful, including grandparents supporting their families.
You can download and view the guide here:

I hope it’s useful to someone here.
