Scam and how to follow up.

Usedtobeblonde - change the password - I change mine regularly, use addresses, as Ive had many! family addresses,
religiously make a note of ones I have used.

Do you maintain and monitor a Spam folder into which all extraneous mail should be delivered.

Besides which, who can spend £200 in a hospital.

80+ you might all be but your instincts have served you well.

I’d just change the password at most I’ve had these spam emails several times and just deleted them and carried on as normal

I did realise it would be a mammoth job and frankly not up to it.
I will , as you recommend, just be vigilante.
My friend has posted on Facebook for friends etc who might see but is panicking as whether anyone has fallen for it.
In spite of loads of publicity, people still get taken in and she and I and many of our friends are all in our 80’s.

Change the address if that makes you more comfortable but keep in mind the trouble that will cause you contacting all in your address book.

Tbh I’d just remain vigilant as you have obviously been.

It’s a fact of life now that wee check everything before we act.
