I have lived in rural East Sussex for the last 35 years on the Sussex Weald. Originally I come from Thurrock in Essex. I do not miss south Essex one bit but north Essex is lovely.

I'm from Buckingham. Lived a few places but now in North Essex.

I am in Brackley ,Northamptonshire close to borders with Bucks,and Oxon.

Just reading back through this thread and would like to ask ottosnan why she said her spiritual home is N.Uist. I visited when doing some family history and fell in love with it and also with Barra where I have connections too. I discovered a distant relative in Benbecula. Truly I thought I had discovered a bit of heaven. Do any other Gransnetters come from the Outer Hebrides?
