Are there any Gransnetters in the Suffolk/Essex area who would be interested in meeting up for lunch????

merlotgran Mon 02-Jul-12 22:32:10

Looking forward to meeting you, nellie. Will you be wearing you matron's outfit?

Anagram Mon 02-Jul-12 22:37:36

grin

Hi merlot yes I will be wearing my uniform a matron is always on duty, but I have some rather fetching gold lame sling backs which will go rather nicely and some earrings to match do you think my foxfur cape would be rather ostentatious I wouldn't want to stand out and make you feel under dressed..

just been reading your posts about meeting up anyone live near alnwick northumberland finances mean cannot travel to far

GillieB Sun 22-Jul-12 16:04:46

blackbird - I live in Northumberland, too (the other end of the county, though). There are suggestions about the people from the north east and Scotland meeting up in Edinburgh sometime soon - I can't remember where the thread is, but have a look for it. I'll have a look too and see if I can find it again.

blackbird - I have just found the thread - it is under Chat. I am sure you will find it it you look. Have mentioned that you live in our area.

shysal Fri 28-Sept-12 13:22:18

Welcome worlie. Afraid I am not from your area, but you can make online friends from all over the world on Gransnet. Keep posting on any thread that takes your fancy - you will find ones that are funny, sad, interesting or informative.
I am single, shy and a bit of a loner, but find GN addictive. I don't say much but read with interest several times a day.flowers
