Dull Devon here. Where's the sunshine? I'm going to Exeter tomorrow
shopping with a friend. If an Exeter meeting is arranged sometime that
would be fun.
Looking forward to the new Ikea (are we allowed to mention names like that on here???) planned for near Exeter. smile

Could possibly combine it with a few days with daughter and family in Bristol. Wonder whether Bristol could be persuaded to hold a meetup within a few days of the Exeter one?

Will start making list, ga to make sure you can make it!

I shall be away (2nd honeymoon) from 31 Aug to 14th Septemeber.

Hi I've just joined Gransnet and have just discovered this thread, I live in Plymouth so good to know there are so many "neighbours" here.

Let's keep this going for a while, but I will start a thread later. Is it OK with you all if I try to pull this together? It would be so nice to meet.

I might even make Exeter. I would stay overnight though. It's actually only just over an hours drive for me. We used to keep our yacht on the Exe at Starcross.

Now that sounds good! What do the rest of you think? And, before I step on any toes, who runs the local GN?

Anyone near or in Exeter? If we get moving, we could start a new thread to catch other people.
