I am in Cardiff when back in UK - just sold the house north of Bridgend and we are now based SW France - will be back in UK for several weeks March/ April as DD having op and will need assistance. Would love to meet up then if at all possible.

Hi Galen, well I was brought up in Newport, Rogerstone, I remember the Llanwerne steelworks being built when I was 16. When we were kids my mum and dad used to take us to Coronation park and we we used to go over the transporter bridge from the top, one sunday I lost my sandel as we climbing the steps. never to be seen again. Memories i will treasure,I often go to Newport shopping I will give you a wave. ha ha( I think it was Coronation and not Corporation)???? confused

I'm in Portishead. I can wave to yo if you go to Newport.i can see the transporter bridge from my house. I'm directly opposite llanwerne
