The Village Inn is only 5 minutes by car from the train station and I can ferry before lunch if everyone agrees, then share taxis back (or bus)

They change the set menu every week and the current one makes for hungry reading...everything made on the premises

I have grown quite fond of the old town, lots of people visit for the market and Betty's Teasrooms. Would be great to see you if you are rested enough, I have fibro and M.E. so will also be resting plenty before the event.

YaYa I have posted on the local, I am in Newcastle, but would like to join if I can fit in around school pick ups.

I've only lived in the NE for thirty years and have never got round to visiting Northallerton. I've always wanted to so I will try but will have just come back from hols and usually need a serious rest.
