East Midlands (ish) meet-up anyone?

Don't want to complicate things but have been looking at Breedon on the Hill; haven't been there for years but they have all sorts of lovely things there...garden centre, cafe, shops and [from memory] a fascinating little church. I might check it out when I've got a spare couple of hours. It's just down the road from the airport [past the racetrack] although how far down the road I'm not sure. Haven't really been that way since it was the main road to Birmingham. Specki; I'll pm you my mobile number [when I can remember it].

Looks as though you can park there but it's £5 . I'll have a think!!

So Do I have to park at the sirport or is there a hotel car park?

Turn left out of airport, walk down to round about and the Thistle is just the other side. 2 mins walk. Have fun

The Thistle is on the airport 'campus' as it were. Not sure exactly where but sure to be signs.

I can fit in with most things as long as it's after 12'ish. I have to leave work by 10.30 anyway that week but need to go home and let the dog out etc.

Was just going to pm you specki I look after my grandchildren on Wednesdays and am not definitely not fit for purpose after that. Think it rules out GM too.

Got it wrong; it's a Wednesday and I don't work at all on that day [but think it rules out a few others].

The Thistle is within 2 mins walking distance, just turn left out of airport.

Oh that's true. I think my daughter goes swimming there. It's just on the way out as you leave the airport isn't it? Must point out, though that I'm away in the latter part of June [which I keep forgetting about].

I think there is also a Radisson or something like that. I know of a nice modern pub quite near too but maybe Tegan can come up with something. Hope to see you in Mrs Bridges granjura, next time.
