WAKE UP YOU LOT! Please reply to my queries

LizG Thu 28-Nov-13 21:29:05

Sorry Mike, having family problems right now and just don't have the energy to go anywhere and sort anything. Daughter had broken foot now still has tissue damage and her foot is very painful so I am having to fill the gaps with child transport and loads of other things. Don't think Christmas will happen this year let alone local meets. I am so sorry to let you all down.

Za Za's is good for me as I am Bristol based, presume that is central for most people, lunch at 1.0 pm, any Tuesday would be suitable.
Don't know where you are Galen, is it difficult to get into Bristol by bus, assume you have a bus pass??

Galen Thu 28-Nov-13 20:46:22

Not for me! It costs me £50to get into Bristol and back by taxi.

Right ladies. My money is on Za Za. Any lunch date for me. Suggestions please.

Doesn't look like my message got through. I sent one yesterday.

I live in Bristol and am interested in a meet up for lunch sometime if anyone is interested.

Regards Maureen Milsom

Good morning ladies. How are we all? I am attending a birthday bash at Za Zas on Sunday. Will give my opinion afterwards. I await your shout for when we are ready to meet again.

MikefromBristol Thu 07-Nov-13 17:00:26

Just realised that. Very sad. Not a time to talk about meets.

Ariadne Wed 06-Nov-13 12:13:32

We have all been occupied with a missing friend from GN. Her body has just been found.

MikefromBristol Tue 05-Nov-13 17:30:49

Come on ladies, help me out. I am beginning to think it's something personal. Be FRANK with me.

Oldgreymare Tue 29-Oct-13 23:43:08

Had the GS to stay for a few days.... now back to Derby and Joan hmm

Galen Tue 29-Oct-13 17:42:12

Yes!

sunseeker Tue 29-Oct-13 16:45:39

Bump!
Where are the rest of the Bristol crew - not hibernating yet are you?! grin

Maniac Tue 29-Oct-13 13:30:47

Can do lunch at Za Za most days in Nov except 2nd or 9th. Sats and Suns can be busy/noisy with children and families -and are also more expensive!
lunch can be anytime after 1p.m but must end by 5 p.m.

sunseeker Mon 28-Oct-13 15:00:55

I would prefer a lunchtime, never been to Za Za but happy to give it a go. As I said before I can make any lunchtime (how sad is that!)

MikefromBristol Mon 28-Oct-13 12:32:14

Start again. Local forum is very quiet. Za Za is my preferred choice. They do Lunch or Evening. Weekday or weekend. Wet or dry. Alcoholic or sober. Meat or veggie. I am on for any time, any place, anywhere. Come on, you know you want to !!!

MikefromBristol Tue 06-Aug-13 10:01:46

Galen has thrown some pebbles in the stream on the Local Forum. We are Portishead bound for the next one. All interested parties please jump in the stream. Everybody welcome !!

Oldgreymare Mon 05-Aug-13 23:17:37

A weekday would work for me but we would have to wait for Galen's workload to decrease..... steam coming out of her ears at the mo...... hang on in there Galen

LizG Mon 05-Aug-13 09:04:18

Like the idea of afternoon tea but Sunday is not the best day for me I'm afraid.

Oldgreymare Mon 05-Aug-13 08:51:48

Will be able to think straight after today (visitors departing later!).

Afternoon tea suits me too, sunseeker, as we suggested.

MikefromBristol Fri 02-Aug-13 09:34:02

Or evening cocktails then?

sunseeker Thu 01-Aug-13 20:58:38

We did discuss having afternoon tea - anyone up for that?

Galen Thu 01-Aug-13 20:37:34

hmm

Galen Thu 01-Aug-13 20:37:13

Alcoholic ones might be different.[Hmm]

Galen Thu 01-Aug-13 20:36:19

Too busy working. Can't do coffee mornings!
