Hello all you Kent and Essex ladies. I am arranging another Bluewater meet up for Saturday 15th March. I suggest we meet in the Costa at the back of Waterstones at 11am, then if any one chooses we could go on to have lunch somewhere
To help us identify each other please have a scarf hanging on your handbag, but failing that just ask any one who looks as if they may be a gransnetter ;) I do hope lots of you can come. We always have lovely chats.

Any one else going to join us? Looks like we could be in for a good long natter
Sorry not to be. Able to join you. Hopefully join you T the next meet up. have a good time.
thanks sweetpea, good to hear from you and kind of you to message. Yes, see you next time xx
I am new to GN and have just seen this, living only 3 miles fron Bluewater so would be lovely to meet up, but unfortunately today am already busy. I am around weekdays and weekends too, so hope perhaps another time. How do I find out about future meetings?
Well Lindylooby and I met up today (which was lovely as we get on very well) but yet again no one else turned up; so I am afraid if any one else wants Bluewater meet ups they will need to arrange them themselves. We are giving up, which is a shame as it is a great opportunity for people to get together for a lovely time. Lindylooby and I will carry on meeting as we have become good friends so something positive has come out of all this. I apologise to silverlining48 as you clearly would like to meet. Maybe you will have more luck if you arrange something.
Nanapug, we did have a lovely time. It is a shame there is so much apathy about meet ups. I truly do not know what I would have done this last year if you had not encouraged me to meet up. I truly treasure our friendship. Being a widow at 56 is not fun, but you (together with other friends and family) have given me the confidence to begin carving a different life out for myself.
Perhaps Silverling 48 will have more success than us in arranging a meet.
Thank you nanapug for arranging the last 3 meetups. We have found friendship and I look forward to next time.
Bless you Lindylooby, you are a lovely lady and I too value our friendship very much. I am delighted that we did arrange some meets purely for the fact that I have found a lovely friend which is what I was hoping for for others too xx
As a new member I only read about the Bluewater meeting yesterday morning when it was just too late for me to change my plans. What a pity only two of you turned up, but it sounds like you enjoyed yourselves and I am sorry I couldnt join you. I dont think I would have any more success trying to arrange something, but if nanapug and lindylooby meet again I would be pleased to meet you both as I live close to Bluewater. Best wishes to you both and all at GN.
Thank you silverlining48
Thank you silverlining48. We will probably meet up again in about 6 weeks or so. I will pm you before, you are more than welcome to join us. Where do you live? I live in Riverview Park?
hi to all who made it to bluewater sat; 15th mar;
so sorry I could not make it -- family demands take preference, lol
how did things go --was it fun ?
sat; are not the best day for me, but looking forward to my chance to meet up; especially as the weather hopefully gets better!
I live in Rainham -Medway; and it takes me around an hours travel by bus each way to and from, b/water, also the last bus to return to rainham is 6.10pm; which rather curtails ones shopping day, lol
nanapug did you receive my p/message that I couldn't come yesterday ?
hope you are all enjoying these warm sunny days ?
jcdoh
oooppps I did not read every post--- well I am sad -but also pleased that such a good friendship has blossomed from GN s; sad you are giving up nanapug! and I hope silverlining48 will choose a date sooner than the 6 weeks lindylooby suggests; I only joined GNs in dec; and have missed the one and only meet up on sat; last, due to family re-arranging my time !
I often meet my niece in Dartford -adsa café for coffee and snack, around midday, but which day varies, lol depending on weather or health ! its a nice friendly and comfortable, cafe !
then do a bit of looking at whats new in the shops there.
but I like Maidstone too, and Canterbury. so silverlining let me know, asap; must tell you I am very deaf; but you can text messages to me -lol!
jcdoh
Hi jcdoh, I'm afraid I didn't get a pm from you. Shame you couldn't come.
Hi Lindylooby and nanapug, I live in Dartford, am retired so weekdays or weekends are both ok with me apart from Wednesdays when I walk. Also have grandma duties from time to time. If you are meeting again in around 6 weeks have looked at my diary and at present can make l5th, l8th, 25th, if any of these dates fit in with you both, let me know. I am not sure what 'pm' is. post message? ...will keep an eye out for it. Best wishes to all and look forward to meeting you soon. Enjoy the sunshine.
Silverlining48, I too am on grandma duties each weekday, dgs goes to nursery until September which means I can really only meet up at the weekends, as he finishes at 12 noon, and I do not drive. The weekends are 'me' time since being widowed last April. PM means private message.
Hi Lindylooby Nanapug and Silverlining48 and Jcdoh I missed this meet again!
I only just popped in and saw your posts Lindylooby. That'll teach me.
I was looking forward to meeting up with other grans. I'm just outside Whitstable. I meet a friend at Bluewater and sometimes London from time to time.
As you say Jcdoh Canterbury and Maidstone are nice to.
Would love to come to your next 'get together'?
Hi to everyone! As previously mentioned I was unable to make 15 March as away with friends for the weekend. I too would REALLY love to meet up with some Grans as new to area (moved to West Malling just before Christmas),so would like to make new friends. I can do most any day, GC duties permitting, but can't do 10/28 May as away - again. I could do Bluewater/Maidstone/Sevenoaks/Canterbury, so am open to offers if nanapug or lindylooby, or anyone wants to reconsider? I was born and brought up in Whitstable so that is a possibility, not that I remember much about it of course! Hope someone sees this message?
hi to all you b/water hopefuls --
I only joined early this year and have yet to make it to meet up;
April and May are kind of full with b/days, also week away on 23rd May, but if I can - I will ! if there is one in place?
maybe we should put some dates and where ? then see if any match up ?
Morning everyone. Nanapug and I are looking to meet up at Bluewater on 17th May. This is not yet confirmed but let me know if you would be interested. We will have a coffee then possibly lunch with a little shopping.
Look forward to meeting everyone on the l7th.
Are we still on for the l7th? Its in my diary and I have chosen my scarf!
Looking forward to it. Best wishes to all.
Hi to all going to Bluewater on the 17th, I shall be en route to a Galapagos cruise but send my best wishes to you all and count me in for the next one, all things being equal!
Have a wonderful cruise sweetpea.
