Given the success of the Oxford lunch, would there be any take-up by GNetters further East for a similar "do" in Cambridge?

Can I add my name to the Cambridge meet up please? At moment I have no pressing engagements, so can meet any time. Towards middle/end of August would be good.
Botanic Gardens sounds good, as mentioned before the town centre is a nightmare!

Kate we are just off Hospital Road not too far from WSH. Would love to meet up in Cambridge if I can.

The Botanic Gardens has an entrance not far from the station and park and ride bus stops nearby.

goldengirl Sun 13-Jul-14 17:23:37

I'm only an hour away on the train and would love to come if I can.

I've just found this thread again!

A meet up in the Botanic Gardens would be good. It has an excellent new cafe too. Any other suggestions? The centre of Cambridge is packed with tourists and language students for the summer.

I live in Suffolk only 30 miles from Cambridge , no particular preference around days/dates.

Soutra Mon 07-Jul-14 10:10:59

It might be nice to revive this projected meet up. Any thoughts on dates/days?

Kate13 Sun 06-Jul-14 22:11:55

I'm a 40 min drive to Cambridge (Newmarket Road Park &Ride ) Would be interested in meeting up.Anyone else from Suffolk?

My son is there at Uni, I am only an hour away normally but they are dualling the A11 and it takes forever to get there. I made him come home by bus this weekend, it should have taken an hour and ten minutes but took almost two hours - so I think I would pass until the road is finished.

suebailey1 Sat 14-Jun-14 09:30:57

can I come - only 50 miles but straight through train from MM?

merlotgran Fri 13-Jun-14 22:16:28

We haven't done one in Cambridge yet, Poppyfields but I'm sure it could be arranged if there were enough people interested.

Poppyfields60 Fri 13-Jun-14 22:12:17

I live a twenty min drive from central Cambridge and would love to be part of a 'meet up'! When is the next one?

jacqui60 Thu 27-Feb-14 15:10:14

Hello Flower. I'm in Sawbridgeworth; you are in Letchworth, aren't you? One of the others who replied previously was in Ware so hopefully we can find somewhere central that everyone can get to! I am happy to travel a bit!

Flowerofthewest Thu 27-Feb-14 14:10:02

I'm in Herts Jaqui60 which end of Herts are you? I am North Herts.

jacqui60 Thu 27-Feb-14 12:12:26
