Can I add my name to the Cambridge meet up please? At moment I have no pressing engagements, so can meet any time. Towards middle/end of August would be good.
Botanic Gardens sounds good, as mentioned before the town centre is a nightmare!

Kate we are just off Hospital Road not too far from WSH. Would love to meet up in Cambridge if I can.

The Botanic Gardens has an entrance not far from the station and park and ride bus stops nearby.

I'm only an hour away on the train and would love to come if I can.

A meet up in the Botanic Gardens would be good. It has an excellent new cafe too. Any other suggestions? The centre of Cambridge is packed with tourists and language students for the summer.

Oh Kate how did you guess been here for four years since downsizing from a village just outside of Newmarket. House is a bit twee so my DH and I spend lots of time bumping into each other!

My son is there at Uni, I am only an hour away normally but they are dualling the A11 and it takes forever to get there. I made him come home by bus this weekend, it should have taken an hour and ten minutes but took almost two hours - so I think I would pass until the road is finished.

can I come - only 50 miles but straight through train from MM?

We haven't done one in Cambridge yet, Poppyfields but I'm sure it could be arranged if there were enough people interested.
