Welcome back Sue nice to see you I'm nowhere near you as I'm on The Wirral but that makes no difference does it as we are all close by when it comes to Gransnet.

Hi Everyone

I have just joined Gransnet - at the moment I am on holiday in a town called Issoire in The Auvergne but I live for most of the year in Northern Cyprus - apart from half July, all of August and Christmas and New Year visiting family in England..
Gransnet sounds great as reading some of the threads - we all seem to have so much in common.

Will someone please explain the new emoticons up there ^ and tell me why they aren't showing on the list at the bottom!

Might they be emoticons used from your own iPad, tablet, PC so not the Gransnet official ones? Not recognised by the site they just appear as squares? I could be wrong here.
