Oxfordshire meet up?

Hi boheminan.It would be great to meet up again with you and the others.
Personally I favour Wallingford as I can get off the bus there. Oxford is OK as that is the final destination of the bus. Abingdon is a possibility but it would mean getting another bus and not arriving till about 12.

Love to meet up again, it all depends on the when and where though.

Hi Greenfinch roses . What days are best for you to meet, and would you prefer Wallingford or Abingdon roses? It's getting a bit confusing as the thread is also on the 'Local' site, but I reckon it will get more response on the main forum, with on occasional 'bump' up. Probably be looking September onwards, when children are back at school?

Any day is fine for me though I would prefer not Tuesday. Late September or early October would be ideal.

Glad to see some action here - Oxford is best for me, although Wallingford would be good too. Anyone got suggestions about venue? Can't think of anywhere much better than the Ashmolean cafe in Oxford. Don't really know anywhere in Wallingford except the Old Post Office which is quite expensive.

Hi Alie Hope your problems are being sorted? I apologise for keeping a low profile too. I get 'Black Dog' type depression, which really had me at rock bottom, but I'm clawing my way back up again and hope to be okay for an autumn get together. purple Wallingford seems to be more favoured at the moment. There's a good bus service to/from Wallingford/ Oxford. I agree with you on The Old Post Office being expensive but there's a venue by the river (The Boat House?) which someone (*flick*?) as talking about on the 'local' thread...
