Meet-up in Reading

Will give it some thought. Life has become rather complicated as SiL has just heard that the operation he's been waiting for has been brought forward by 3 months! We're not sure what his recovery will involve so no idea at the moment if I shall be free.

It has been suggested that we have another meet-up before Christmas so we need to get thinking now .If anyone would like to suggest a few dates, time and venue ,please put them on this thread or send me a pm.

It doesn't take much arranging dustyangel and is well worth it to meet people "in the flesh". It was great to have such a long chat with you on Monday. I hope your visit on Tuesday was as successful.

Just checked train times. I think I should get to JL about elevenish. If I leave any earlier I think the station car park is more expensive.

May I gently remind you of our meet-up on Monday from 10.30 in the John Lewis coffee shop in Reading town centre. There are 4 of us at the moment which is lovely but 5 or 6 would be even better. Looking forward to seeing everybody.

Will have to miss this meeting [it's half term here too] and I shall be on grandparent duty. Have a nice meet -up [the bangers and mash are good in JL.]

Looks as if half term will be good for me as SiL will be at home and I won't have to bring GS2 with me (He is a darling but I do worry about jumping on and off trains with someone else's baby)

The last time GS1 was in JL he pointed out that there was nobody younger than me in the cafe, so hopefully shouldn't be too many people.

Our (Reading) school is on half term that week - but hopefully JL wont be too full for you to natter in peace
