£50 round trip? Wow! There must be public transport, though ? I know you wouldn't take it, but I could?

A taxi from Bristol Airport to DD's house is £27 - more than the single airfare from Edinburgh. Thankfully, DD always insists on meeting me.

I am around but I only go into Bristol by taxi £50 round trip. If you want to come to Portishead you're welcome.

I shall be in Bristol for a few days soon. Any GNers free to meet somewhere for a coffee or luinch on the 28th or 29th October?

Someone else will have to fix where to meet and tell me how to get there - I shall be lost.
