north west meet up

Open to all suggestions! Would be good to meet other gransnetters and if there are any alone like myself a good chance to have a laugh

Do the trafford centre hire out any disability scooters withing the centre? Or do you meet near the centre? I would love to come but I can't walk round the centre. Only did the Dreams shop today with the doggie in her pram and I was shattered doing that.

I did manage to get out earlier Nana on my mini mean machine, my mobility scooter, but it was about 6pm and my fingers felt nippy going out but coming back were cramping up something awful, very painful and I barely got back. That's what I get for feeling guilty at not getting the little pooch out, although she had a great run in the park at the side of my scooter, she loved it.

I hope you are well and that we can arrange something soon. Car going in the morning, so I'll see what they say.

ruby very sorry about you not getting out, it's been so nice weather wise too. I Hope the car gets fixed soon. Seems like Monday is cancelled now, we'll reschedule soon hopefully.

I'll be ok once the mean machine is back up and running, so another day would be better for me. I'm sorry for the inconvenience but it wasn't my fault, it was a woman driving to work. It's also meant that I've not been able to get out anywhere this weekend too.

Oh that's a shame! I'm having difficulty as well, I am debating whether I can get there on Monday after all. What does anyone else think, change to another day or leave as it is?

I'm sorry ladies but I won't be able to make it. My car has got clipped while parked and will be being picked up from the dealers on Monday for repair. I can't even put it off as it's undriveable. If they do come early enough, then I might still get there but just in case I am not there, you know the reason. X

I thought we were deciding between 14, 21 or 28 October for the next meetup? They are alright for me although I would prefer a Monday, Wednesday or Thursday if it was up to me.

I came back from holiday to find a parking fine for me too but I've got it cancelled so that's ok. Sorry I havent been on here much for the last month but I'm back now!!
