Sorry I've not been on ladies, not been well and a good friend died today too, so not good really.

If it's October, hopefully I will be ok, busy this month though with mi laddo.

Spa weekend did not work out, had to come home through feeling ill. My son has been a gem over the rest of the weekend, looking after me.

Yes we can choose a date. Oct. 23-28 I can't do as it's half term and we have family visiting. Also I am starting some voluntary work on Tuesday mornings. Look forward to meeting you all.

mazza, I'm so sorry to hear about your friend's fine. nana3 and I have got ours cancelled by phoning someone at Villa Express and explaining. It seems some car registrations didn't go through the system properly.

I'm presently on holiday in Portugal, boiling my socks off! My friend, Linda, who came to the Villa Express with me has informed me that she has got a parking fine! I am assuming I have one at home waiting for me too! I've asked her to ring VE on our behalf and ask them what's going on! Bags, we all gave them our reg nos and were assured we were OK fir staying longer, do you remember? It's very annoying but we'll sort it out. Unfortunately I can't from here at the mo unless I email them. Anyone else heard?

Oh, great! I've just received a parking fine (£60) for my visit to Villa Express on 4 Aug because I didn't know to inform someone there about my car and was there for more than two hours.

Hello DaphneBroom - so far as I could see, your post wasn't responded to. I want to say thanks and support your comment. One of my daughters was pre cancerous for 5 years and has just had her first normal smear result. What a relief.

I'm up for a meetup in October. I don't know how I'll be placed on a Friday for picking up at school in Garstang at 3.15 though as my husband can't help on Fridays. I'm alright for any of those days at the moment with that proviso.

That looks okay ruby it's fairly close to the Middlebrook exit of the M61 and should be easy to find.

What about Dolce, Italian bar, cafe and grill. Prices and menu looks a little posher than the garden centre but still affordable. It is on Blackburn Road, Bolton, withing the Global Interiors Furniture shop. Let me know what you think. I've never been myself yet so it would be a new experience for me too. X

Been busy last few weeks celebrating my 60th birthday....surprise party....afternoon tea..week away..just looked at post and I seemed to have missed another meet up. Anyway would love join you for next one hopefully...(although you will all be best buddies by now)....

I'm up for a meet, if anyone is interested, within the next couple of weeks, get me through this waiting time, give me something to look forward to. I can't make Thursdays now though, and it would have to be nearer to me as I can't drive too far at the moment. Anyone? X

Thanks Nana yes, it was reassuring, I haven't thought too much about it to be honest last couple of days, I've been in tremendous pain with starting a period again. I thought it was coming to an end and I'd avoided one this month but no, full force but very painful. Plus been sorting out my dad's affairs still and planning what I will be doing when my son leaves home. Just looked at Tesco and I can buy all the things I haven't been able to, normally we food shop for the family so personal choices go by the wayside, now I will be able to buy all my favourites! Lovely. I hope you are well and I look forward to meeting up again soon. Xxx

Hi Nana thank you for your message but no, not really. I got a letter back from the hospital from my colposcopy recently and I have CIN 1, which I don't know what they will do about it as I can't ring on a Saturday. I will ring on Monday. I hope you are well. I'm going to try and chill out for a while and then have a sleep.
