cafe cupcake right back at you smile Looking forward to it. I'm thinking we should have a name for our gang - something to be thinking of in the meantime!

Was great to have the full complement of netters (or nutters?)! Had such a lovely time. I have nothing on my calendar for the end of July.

Cornishgirl777 Fri 30-Jun-17 10:02:05

Yes,indeed,Roses . It was a great get together. The shopping proved to be a bit expensive! Looking forward to next month.

rosesarered Thu 29-Jun-17 20:40:48

If anyone one else wants to join us for next time and can get to Dunelm Mill on the outskirts of Swindon we will be very pleased to meet you.

rosesarered Thu 29-Jun-17 20:39:20

Well, had a lovely meet up as usual, enjoyed our long lunch at the Swindon Outlet Centre ( great place!) Also enjoyed our browse in just about every shop, and none of us went home empty handed.I hoped nobody would notice the large box of Thorntons chocs that I bought grin but they did and nobody believed my ' they are for someone else, hones!' ......but they really are.
All five of us managed to make this meet up, and look forward to seeing you all if possible at the end of next month.smile

rosesarered Wed 28-Jun-17 19:35:35

Struggling2do1 Tue 27-Jun-17 11:22:44

All go for Thursday at the outlet.
Hi Hilda, thanks for your post. I only came to live near Swindon a couple of years ago but I fully get what you mean about being nostalgic about where we grew up. My home town was Weymouth, loved being by the sea. I am sure that you would find Swindon much different, there are so many new estates so lots more people.

HildaW Tue 27-Jun-17 11:06:38

Oh how is dear old Swindon? Was my childhood and early adulthood home.....glad to leave it though as was not the happiest place. But its funny one grows nostalgic even for the places that were not full of the happiest memories. That being said.....loved my schools. Lawn Infants and Junior school then on to Churchfields and a final couple of years at the then going down hill fast Commonweal.

Cornishgirl777 Tue 27-Jun-17 09:17:36

See you all soon

rosesarered Tue 27-Jun-17 08:36:02

Thanks, look forward to spending money browsing after lunch.smile
