North West meet up phase 2

Just dipping my toes in the water and wondering if anyone would be interested in meeting at Bents Garden Centre as previously suggested here. Apparently it's on Warrington Road WA3 5NT, I would be coming from Liverpool. I'm suggesting Monday 10th September as it gives plenty of notice and our grandchildren should be back in school ( for those of us who help out with childminding). It would be nice to meet some of you for a coffee and friendly chat. Let me know.

We spoke about having a meet up at the end of May. I think Bents Garden Centre was mentioned. I've never been, must look up the location.

Hi, just read this blog, is it an old one or are you meeting up at Barton Grange this year 2018? I'd love to join you if so, I live just outside Morecambe.

We try to vary where we meet for just that reason, Marylane. The last two have been much more south, near Chorley and this last one near Blackburn. If you are definitely coming, we will arrange to come a bit further south to meet you.

Will look forward to the next meet up though Garstang seems miles away. Never mind worth the effort to meet up with you .

Am glad that the three of you who made it had a lovely time,try my hardest next time to make it!

Ive just rung the restaurant and the roads are horrendous! Deep snow, accidents, lorries jackknifed etc. I've booked a table and I'll try to get there but not sure how many of us will make it. Seasider the man said it was taking two hours from Blackpool so we should set off early! Don't know if you'll get this? See you later hopefully?

Sorry ladies. I'm going to have to call off at last minute. We have much more snow here than last time and it's still coming! My grandchildren's school has closed too so they may end up here. I believe it's turning to rain later but can't take the risk. I'm so disappointed. If it's clearer there hope you make it.

Looking forward to the meet up next Thursday. I hope we get a lot more people coming, it's been a bit sparse the last couple of times. Come on, the snow will have gone by then and we'll have a lovely jolly chat in the warm!
