Wednesday problem is only until Christmas. I am doing a one term course in Oxford. Next term the class I am doing is on a Tuesday evening.

Hi MOnica, finding a date which fits with all has proved to be quite difficult. The October meet has been agreed and booked for Wednesday 1st November. We will keep in mind your difficulties with Wednesdays & Mondays when setting our next meeting.

I couldn't manage September's meet-up and cannot currently manage Wednesdays as I have a class in Oxford from 10.30 to 12.30 (plus an afternoon commitment on 1 November). Mondays are also out.

Sounds like fun, what do you get the man with everything!

Meaning, that we put things down which suit our own DH, or at least may do.

lemongrove Fri 29-Sept-17 12:00:32

Why don't we scribble a few suggestions down, mix them up on the table and try and guess which pressies suit who's DH? ?

nanasam Fri 29-Sept-17 11:55:35

By all means, in fact that's a much more practical idea!

lemongrove Fri 29-Sept-17 11:25:20

Or suggestions for DH's Christmas presents ( always harder for me to fix than world problems)?

nanasam Fri 29-Sept-17 10:33:39

1st is good for me too, struggling and I'm more than happy to pick lemon up at 1145. Shall we all come with a daft solution to world problems? Can't wait!!!

Hi everyone, it was a really entertaining meeting, I am sure that the poor chap behind us learnt a thing or 2! I am fine with 1st November which seems to be a date that fits with everyone. If everyone's ok with the same venue I will book us a table for 12:00 noon. Looking forward to it already. NanaSam, are you ok about a lift for lemon? Happy to help otherwise.

Great meet up once again, thoroughly enjoyed it, - when I eventually got there, and thanks to Lorraine who followed me, to correct my directions, as I was going the wrong way once again, fortunately I made it to the petrol station. I am such a dork!
Any of the dates mentioned work for me, shall we settle on 1st Nov.

lemongrove Tue 26-Sept-17 20:29:05

As you were,? Looked at wrong month.
I can do the wed 1st Nov, relying on buses and kind people once again.

lemongrove Tue 26-Sept-17 20:03:10

Wednesday is the 4th!
I can do the 4th, if everyone else can?

nanasam Tue 26-Sept-17 17:32:08

Can't do it without you, fish, I can do either of those dates. DGD is due on the 27th so I may have some good news grin

What a lovely lunch in a great pub. Thanks,Struggling for suggesting it and for the photo share. Unfortunately the 31st is the day I'm on Granny duty. Is Friday 27th or Wednesday 1st any good? I don't expect plans to be made just for my benefit, though.??

nanasam Tue 26-Sept-17 17:14:06

It doesn't look good to be thrown out of a pub, does it? blush
We mentioned 31st October - that's good for me. wine

lemongrove Tue 26-Sept-17 16:59:06

Hi all,
A lovely meet up and lunch ( meet earlier next time then they don't throw us out at 3pm.)??
Hope that we can all make the next one at the end of October.
