Is any expat in the Rome (North of Rome) want to meet up? Am a newbie, 72, teacher of English as a second Language. Two adult daughters: one married and living in UK.

Don't know if we have any expats around Rome giulia but you might get people who would like to meet up while they are on holiday. Sadly DH is too ill to travel and there is no chance of me getting to Italy at the moment Where is your daughter living in the UK?

Oh dear that's a pity Giulia , I'm just back from Rome. Stay at Largo Torre Argentino every September.

Deedaa. Hi! My daughter lives on the Sussex coast.
Marydoll. Oh well! Bet the heat got to you this year. September is when I went back to England to see my daughter. Couldn't wait to get away!

We are up in Berkshire - not that far from Sussex. The early summer was very hot but August was just endless rain.
