Woops, sorry, when I checked my diary realised I have someone coming to me for lunch that Thursday. Really would like to join in with these, so nice and close for me. Please let me know the date of the next one planned, so I can try to ensure that day is free.

Be great to see you Pittcity! And you Niobe! The George does have a car park. At the traffic lights you turn left from the High Street towards the A 12 to Ilford then almost immediately turn left into the car park.

I'd like to come along. Haven't been to Wanstead for over 30 years. We lived there when we first got married!

I'd like to have gone too but am still working full-time so daytime during the week isn't possible...

No problems, I have discovered that it is on the Central line.

What line is Wanstead on please?

Looking forward to it Loopyloo. Se you there! Worth pointing out that Wanstead station has escalators so is very accessible and I think the George has a car park but I will check that next time I'm passing.

Oh dear, a little more notice might have made this possible for me, but now I have to have the car MOT’d and agreed for a friend to come to whom I am giving Paw’s set of Patrick O Brien (Jack Aubrey) books. It would have been handy to go on to Walthamstow to see littlest fella too.
