Doncaster Meet up?

Hello Folks

Mapleleaf can't make 31st May and Willow can't make 24th so what do you ladies want to do? Maple can make 14th of June so we can look at that to start organising out June meet up.

Bev1409 and Willow can make 31st and I haven't been able to get hold of snowbird04 but I do hope anyone who can make it on the 31st will be there even though Maple is missing.

So all we have to do is fix a time if we are happy with Georgian Tea Rooms.

I’ll be wearing black trousers,orange top, silver coloured long necklace. Probably my brown quilted jacket.( That might change to beige Mac if this rain keeps up)!!
Will loiter round the entrance to cafe around 1 pm. ?

Ok how about 26th at 1pm in Debenhams (they have some comfy seats in there at the bottom end). I think I'm 5'4 with blond hair (well I know I have blond hair) but won't have a clue what I'm wearing until half an hour before I set off - Mrs Indecisive that's me! I'll be the one looking confused no doubt

Hey we are doing 'Ladies Wot Lunch" :-)

How will we identify ourselves? Well I'm about 5'8" (was 5'10" but shrunk) grey/blonde hair, wearing glasses and looking lost lol.

However, on whichever Thursday we pick we could post a brief description of what we are wearing to help.

So all we have to do now is nail which Thursday and Debenhams or Binns :-)

:-) Ok peps. A Thursday it is then and somewhere in Frenchgate seems to work :-) All we need to do now is settle on a date, time and place.

Debenhams or Costa works for me and as there's only the three of us so far seating will be ok. I will try to get hold of snowbird04 so we may be four.

I have an appointment on Thursday mornings but I can change that with notice so lets do this

If there’s just 4 or 5 of us then debenhams cafe would be ok, or there’s a costa cafe on the same level in Frenchgate that has just been extended. A Thursday would be ok for me.

Afraid evenings are out for me unless it's high summer as I can't drive in the dark but Thursdays are generally a good day for me work wise although this week I have the accountant coming. There's a pub up at the side of Lakeside (forget the name) which might work? Or somewhere in Frenchgate? Depends how many of us there would be really - getting 20 seats in Debenhams cafe could cause an issue

I'm happy with either town centre or Lakeside and am flexible on the when.

We often assume meet ups are day time events but I don't think there are any rules to say it can't be an evening thing. It's more about what works best for us so and what we can fit with other commitments.

I have a lot of flexibility as I'm fully retired and family visits are also flexible so if you ladies would like to suggest the where and when we can go from there :-)

I'm just north of Doncaster so could do it although I work so the date might be difficult. There's places round Lakeside we could meet in.

Thank you both for leaving a message, sorry it's taken me so long to reply.

I live near DRI and have a car so travel isn't a problem - setting up the GPS and following it is some times a challenge lol.

I like being on GN and I like meeting other GNers too.

snowbird04 I tried to send you a PM but the site said you weren't set up for that but as it's only the two of you (so far) that have replied I though I'd just send an open message.

Who knows we might be able to get a few more GN's interested.

Hope this find you both well, fingers crossed we can get something arranged.
