One of the groups of people who inspire me most are those who have terminal illnesses and spend their precious time doing something to help others like fundraising.

I think I would go for Maya Angelou. Such a tough life, but wrote with great compassion.
So many people just getting on with the job they are paid to do, but selflessly - soldiers, nurses, doctors, carers.

There are people I admire so will name them

Andy Murray for winning Wimbledon twice without much support from the crowd

Gordon Brown who even when suffering personal tragedies cares so much for the vulnerable, i believe him to be an honest politician.

Winnie Mandela , a shy young mother who suffered much brutality and fought back the only way she could.
