When we had our "Southend" meet up we discussed popping over the river to the Bluewater meet up. I will speak to the others and hopefully some of us "EssexGirls" will be able to join you.

GG What a good idea. You are all most welcome. I will try to remember to prepare a gaily painted gransnet flyer on the table so you recognise us.

Hi, I’ll come along. It’s not that much of a trek from Biddenden, Kent to Bluewater. I look forward to putting faces to the names.

And to you silverling.....where has this year gone?

Jen53........I'm in Kent near Ashford, being new to the area I'm thinking of getting the train from Ashford to Ebbsfleet and then a bus to Bluewater......I don't think I'm too far away from you! Look forward to meeting up with everyone.

Hi. I would love to join you all. I haven't looked into it yet, but do any of you know if there is a train from London to Bluewater? Or, failing that, is it well signposted from M25 to Bluewater. Not been there before.

GrannyGravy13 Sun 06-Jan-19 11:45:52

SuziQ no idea about trains, but it is definitely well sign posted on M25. It is very close the Dartford Crossing.

NannyG4 Sun 06-Jan-19 22:54:23

I believe you can get a train from Ebbsfleet International (setting off from St. Pancras) and then bus to Bluewater. I've not made this journey but I p!an to try it out. I will be travelling from Ashford International, then onto Ebbsfleet and finally Bluewater...haven't been to Bluewater before so a whole new experience!!! I am going to check this out first though just to make sure. Regards....

Bluewater is well marked on the M25 and there are frequent fast track buses from ebbsfleet international which only take a few minutes.
Nearest BR station to BW is Greenhithe the fast track buses run from there, again a very short journey.
Look forward to meeting you all on the 17th. Cafe in Waterstones. 11.30.

Hi, just wondered if there was a Bluewater meet planned in the near future?

Best wishes to all.
