Having had some really good get togethers shall we try to keep things going?
Maybe the CMK John Lewis café wasn’t the best place for first timers to identify us so how about somewhere smaller or having a table booked?
Any suggestions? Camphill has a friendly café; any other ideas?

Enjoyable meet up this morning ladies. I haven't forgotten about the Mocha Squares recipe but will have to copy it from my sheet.

Hopefully see you at the next one.

Yes, it was a lovely morning. I've just heard that today is International Women's Day, which seems appropriate!

Such a good meet this morning. Short on sunshine but long on chat. Let’s do it again soon!

I’m new to granset and live in MK would love to meet up and meet some more grans. Is it ok to come along.

Soupy Sat 02-Mar-19 22:47:09

Charliebrown; I'm just a few miles from Olney and DD used to live in Bozeat.
Not sure yet if I'm going on the 8th.

charliebrown Fri 01-Mar-19 11:35:17

I hope to come along on the 8th. I actually live just over the border in Northamptonshire near Olney and wondered if anyone else might be from this neck of the woods too?

tanith Fri 01-Mar-19 11:10:57

Just throwing my 3pennyworth in, when we had our first meet up someone brought something recognisable to put on the table I think it was a small yellow rucksack so the table was instantly recognisable. We’re still meeting every month after 3/4 yrs. Hope your meetup goes well.

Treebee Fri 01-Mar-19 11:04:05

Gosh, a lot has happened since I last checked this thread!
I’ve booked a table at Camphill café at 10 am next Friday, 8th March.
(Is it possible to change the thread title to add the date?)
I’ve booked it for 6, speculatively, in the name of Gransnet, so just ask the staff to show you to the table. There shouldn’t be any identification problems then!

Shirleyw Thu 28-Feb-19 19:26:15

I would like to meet if that's ok?.... If, nearer the time you'd let me know how to recognise you, would be great ?

ginny Thu 28-Feb-19 16:02:59

Would come but not able to get there ‘till about 11.15 on a Friday. Hope to join you all again soon.

chelseababy Thu 28-Feb-19 12:52:05

Ah thanks. Will try to come another time if meeting is in central MK.

What is Camphill?

Nannyanny Wed 27-Feb-19 18:28:45

See you in Camphill on the 8th. How does 10 am suit?

Treebee Mon 18-Feb-19 19:19:44

I could do Friday 8th.

Nannyanny Wed 13-Feb-19 11:47:34

Hi all, can meet Monday or Friday any week in March so how about the 4th or 8th to get the ball rolling ?

Treebee Fri 08-Feb-19 19:00:25

Let’s say Camphill then. We can book a table in Gransnet’s name so we can be identified. We used to meet on a Wednesday but I have a regular commitment on that day now. Would a Monday or Friday suit?
