Meet up in St Andrews

I didn't know that Elizabeth had a stroke. Glad to hear that that she is making progress. I think it would be best to postpone to a later date when hopefully she will be able to come.

Selfishly, a later date would suit me too, as Ian will be moving into residential care in the next couple of months and then I will be able to attend meet-ups Every cloud has a silver lining.

I wasn’t going to make this meet-up anyway (school sports!), but I’m happy to try and fit in if other arrangements are made. I hope elizabeth1 continues to make progress and gets home very soon.

Some of us were to be having lunch in St Andrews early next month, and Elizabeth1 was organising it. As you know though, she's has a stroke, and is still in hospital in a rehab unit.
She's gradually making progress, but there are no signs of her being discharged as yet.
Shall we leave our meetup until a later date - one that perhaps could include her in some way? What do you all think?

Grammaretto a few years ago some of us met in a lovely restaurant in Aberdeen where the ladies welcomed my daughter and my wee baby grandson. They even treated my daughter to a meal with us. How kind they were and my daughter really enjoyed meeting these lovely ladies from Gransnet.
