It was nice to meet everyone.

Because my mother is getting rather frail (had a scare not long after I got back when she had a UTI) and I am now retired, I'll be coming over more often. The next time will be end of July, which, however, is slightly more than 6 weeks from 4 June.

Central Cambridge will suit me, as I may not bother with a hire car next time. The expense is not worth it and I am better off with public transport and taxis.

Did anyone hear any more from showergelfresh?

Enjoyed our chat and lunch today. Very happy go go with either town or The Plough next time both ok with me.

I'd like to join you next time, jacalpad. Fen Ditton is easy for me to get to but I don't mind central Cambridge.

Four of us met today at the Plough and chatted about all sorts of things! We also had lunch!!

Sorry to those who were not able to join us.

If we meet again in about six weeks time we can avoid the school holidays. Would more of you join us if we met in Cambridge city centre (perhaps easier for people to reach by bus, train etc.)? We mentioned Harriet’s or Carluccios. Open to other suggestions.
