We could get a date set for a Burns lunch, and a list started by the New Year. Are there any dates that are NOT possible for those who would like to come?

Elegran Sun 19-Jan-20 17:01:24

And Marelli has some wool of mine that she took to Fife because she thought she would see you to hand it over - you are going to be loaded down.

Looking forward to tomorrow, and finally relieving Grammaretto of her wool! smile

Just wanted to say my post viral, sleep deprived brain posted that 20th was DH’s birthday ? That was his late Father’s b/day.....they shoot horses, don’t they??

What actually was happening on the 20th is GP/Dental apps..

Do I hear a sigh of relief that ‘ fuddled brain’ can’t make it??

Have a great get together tomorrow every one

Grammaretto Sat 18-Jan-20 17:49:24

Oh EllieB52 what a shame. You could always have a liquid lunch?
Braces for the bottom sound quite pretty

EllieB52 Sat 18-Jan-20 08:17:47

Sorry folks, I’m going to have to pull out of this meet up. Just had bottom braces fitted (teeth, not bottom!) and I can’t eat anything but slop at the moment. If this doesn’t improve it will be the best diet ever!!!

Grammaretto Tue 14-Jan-20 14:29:04

I am coming on the 20th.

With or without spare knitting wool? Cascats?

Katek, I'm up for a Feb jaunt.
I popped into the Portrait Gallery this morning . There's a wonderful photo exhibition, old photographs of Scotland. I only had time to see a bit. I think it finishes on the 16th Feb
Free.

EllieB52 Mon 13-Jan-20 14:53:45

Thanks @Elegran. Look forward to meeting you again.

Elegran Mon 13-Jan-20 11:56:32

See you then, Kalu

Kalu Mon 13-Jan-20 11:33:20

The 20th is DH’s birthday. I won’t make it Elegran but I look forward to meeting you in Glasgow.

Elegran Mon 13-Jan-20 11:21:48

Don't know yet, but something will happen.

Katek Mon 13-Jan-20 11:16:02

What’s happening in February??

Elegran Mon 13-Jan-20 10:45:51

Yes, EllieB there are spaces left. Katek you seem fated to miss meetups! See you in February (Maybe)

EllieB52 Mon 13-Jan-20 10:41:47

Should have read further! I can make 20th if you have any spaces left!

Katek Mon 13-Jan-20 10:37:18

Just caught up with this thread! I could have managed 31st but not 20th unfortunately. ?? Sorry I won’t be seeing you all - seems ages since we last met other than unexpectedly meeting Cascats on the train! Hopefully make the next one

EllieB52 Mon 13-Jan-20 10:35:43

Only just seen this after my manic Christmas and new year! Is it in Edinburgh? I’m generally free except for 23rd.

Elegran Sat 11-Jan-20 11:54:28

Thanks for letting me know, Baggs. No need to choose from the menu in advance, GeminiJen

Baggs Sat 11-Jan-20 09:01:42

I won't be coming on the 20th.

GeminiJen Fri 10-Jan-20 21:02:04

20th good for me too, Elegran.
Just checking....Do we need to commit to menu choices in advance?

oldgoat Thu 09-Jan-20 22:41:16

The 20th is good for me, thank you Elegran
I'd like haggis, neeps and tatties as my main course, please.

Is lunch at 1.00pm?

Elegran Thu 09-Jan-20 12:35:41

At the last count, nine people were interested and free on that day.

The Cranston can take us on the 20th. That is rather close to the Glasgow do, but what do you think? I attach a sample menu, and they can add haggis neeps and tatties to it for us, either as a starter or a main course.
