Just keep a look-out for a 'York meet-up' thread lambKln or keep checking under Forums, meet-ups because they tend to disappear off the Active page quite quickly.

The details of the meeting place will probably be given so if you want to come just reply to the invitation. Everybody is welcome.

Have you seen the York meet-up thread which I've just posted? We are meeting at the Blue Barbakan Polish restaurant in Foss gate at 12.30 on Friday 28th February.
We love meeting new members so hope that you can join us.

Hello everyone. I'm a new member and just wondered if there were any meet ups around Bridlington?

I had not seen this York meet up until now , but would like to come and join you. I will check the map and see where it is, and at the moment am not able to drive, so may come by train, or bus . Sounds very nice so look forward to the day thanks

I come over to the coast quite a bit, I live in Northallerton, so when I am driving sometimes come to Brid, but Malton could be a good place to meet up, if that might appeal. It is an interesting place and they have some good markets and food things going on thee. Also I am very fond of Saltburn, up the coast from you. It is a quieter place, good beach, and has a funicular, which is rather lovely. They have a little railway, besides the actual normal type railway, and some pleasant cafes etc. Just at the moment I am waiting for a cataract operation so not able to drive , but usually happy to drive anywhere. Perhaps you might make the York meeting this time, and we might meet there. Anyway hope we might get together in the near future
