The waves were crashing against the rocks beneath the castle yesterday. Wish I'd had more time to look around. It's a lovely town.

Thats the exact table DH and I sat at on our last visit to St Andrews. The food is great!

Here we are, enjoying our fish and chips at the Tailend. Not a great photo but a great meet-up, as always

Good morning all the sun is shining and I’m feeling good thankfully be cause I’ve been so very tired the last couple of days probably because I’m getting excited and looking forward to our 50th wedding anniversary celebrations which is to be held at home and in church. Afterwards we’re spoiling ourselves by going to a really nice hotel in St. Andrews for a couple of nights and why ? Because we’re worth it.

I told my OH that three of the Grans at the St. Andrews meetup were spinners. He said "What, at the gym?!!"

Can I add my thanks to Elegran too please. Lovely meetup, great to see everyone and the weather was kind. Here's to the next one and hopefully Elizabeth1 and those that could not make it this time being able to come.

I was home first and have been the last to post ?! It was a lovely meetup with about 3 conversations going on at once - not bad for 7 of us! As always, a delicious lunch and lovely weather, too. Thanks for arranging it for us, Elegran (again)!

I'm home too . Had a lovely day and really struggled to eat the free biscuits and crisps on the train after my extra large modest portion of fish and chips.
Got so carried away sight-seeing in St. Andrews that I nearly missed my train.

See you all there. My bus doesn't get in until nearly one, so I'll be a bit later arriving. Bus station closed at the moment due to storm damage, but I can catch that bus at the West End, instead of rushing all round St Andrews Square to the temporary terminus for the earlier one,
