Hello
I’m back to minding a young grandchild and would love to meet up with other local grandparents. My grandson is 16 months old. Would love to have ideas of places to visit.

Are there any playgroups, sometimes in community centres or church premises near you?
I found there are many grandparents taking their GDC from an early age.
It might be a little daunting the first time, but people will make you welcome, and the children will break the ice.
Just an idea.

Thank you for tips. Yes we do go to one toddler group as long as we are quick enough to book it! There doesn’t seem to be the choice I had 8 years ago, changing times I know.
