Time for a Christmas meet up my friends. I was thinking about the week beginning 4th December in our usual venue, the Concert Hall.. Hoping to see the usual suspects and perhaps some new members. We are a friendly bunch and would love to see some new faces.
Just say the days you are free and then we can try to find a suitable date.
I would love to see you all but i stay in a village outside Ayr and don't know my way around Glasgow! Trains are off from Ayr so it would need to be a bus. Anyone else travelling from near here?
I would have loved to but I'm only in Glasgow until the 2nd to see my granddaughter as that will be me until after the festives . Have a great time all who do meet and hopefully in the new year we can arrange something Katie x
Hi Marydoll and all, Somehow I missed this and would have loved to come. Sadly Wednesday 6th is not possible for me. I run a Senior Citizens group of more than 80 members. We meet on a Wednesday and the 6th is our big Christmas lunch so it is impossible for me to miss it. Any other day is fine but it looks like most can make it on that day. I’ve PM’d Kitty who started a thread back in October as I don’t see her name here yet. Have a lovely chat and I’ll hear all about it from Mary! Pictures please!!!!! Happy Christmas to you all x
Hi, I get the X77 to and from Glasgow and the bus station in Glasgow is very close to the concert hall. I don’t get on the bus in Ayr but I could arrange to meet you. You should come ! It will be fun :-)
Whoo hooo - I’ve just booked my train ticket - assuming all on time I’ll be arriving at Queen St about 11.20am. I’ve built in some contingency time to allow for delays so I’ll have a wee wander around the shops first 😀 I’m changing trains at Stirling if anyone is coming from that direction Looking forward to seeing you all soon x
I'm so looking forward to it, looking for ways to avoid climbing the hill at Buchanan Street. I am going to factor in a trip to JL. Its so long since I have had a wander.

Would the bus that runs between Glasgow Central, Queen street station and Buchanan Bus Station help with the hill? The stop at the bus station is just outside the concert hall in Killermont st.
