Maybe Allsorts is just busy but I hope she's ok as it's been a while since she posted.

Had a really busy week last week, the reason I asked about meet ups in Ashby is that I am considering moving 25 miles to live there as its nearer to my son but he has his family and a busy life. I drove there for the day last week and got lost going and coming back so if I move I need things to do. I couldn't find out much about a bus service other than to Burton. I am proactive and would start a meet up if I could and join things. I could meet up at Tamworth, if it were Ashby no doubt I would find it, have to if I move, otherwise from Tamworth or Lichfield to Ashby for me. Afraid Loughbirough too unaccessibke for me, but could be great for others.

Ashby busses used to go to Coalville, Swadlincote, Loughborough and Burton-on-Trent. I think to get to Derby you had to change in Swadlincote and to go to Leicester change in Coalville.
Ashby from Lichfield would almost certainly be easiest via Burton...
