Anyone in Twyford area in Berkshire?

Is there anyone that lives in the Twyford, Berkshire area that would like to meet up for a coffee? I don't have a car, so I can't really go too far without having to get a bus or a train. I do belong to a women's group, but still spend a lot of time on my own. I moved here just over 2 years ago from Essex to be near my daughter and grandchildren, which was a huge upheaval, and left all my friends behind.

I live about 10 miles away from Twyford and a few of us meet up very rarely in Crowthorne. Would it be possible for you to get a bus to Wokingham (I know the local services are poor in this area ) ? The train is impossible without going into Reading. It would be nice to meet you .

I have no idea what telegram is I'm afraid. I've never heard of it, apart from sending a telegram.

I had exactly the same thought which was partly why I responded. Jerry of course could be male or female but I would not respond to anything like that.
