Anyone near Taunton / Yeovil / Shepton Mallet interested in a meet up?

I love The River House too, which has just had a name change . Do you mean the one at the very top of Cheap Street, I think it is called The Settle?

Frome is a good place to meet for a coffee if you don't drive? There is a lovely coffee shop up the little street with the stream running down it but can never remember it's name. But it does Illy coffee my favourite.

I have a long 2-bus journey from north Bristol.
The other alternative is for me to start a Bristol/North Somerset/south Gloucestershire thread. Someone would have to suggest a venue as I have no idea of places to meet!

It’s NO 19 bus from Cribbs Causeway. I think it runs every hour.

Fonthill Garden Centre is in Bitton on Bath Road

Are Fonthill and Bitton close to each other? I’ve no idea of the geography having moved to this area from Kent not very long ago.

I'm in Frome, but don't mind driving over to Fonthill.

I think we need to wait for you to give us a date Sparklefizz. Fonthill suits me fine. I think the bus from Cribbs to Bath goes through Bitton so I don’t know if that would suit you grandMattie? Anybody else got any other ideas?

I’m away for a week from 15th May but most dates after that should be ok for me.

Bitton would be good for me too but happy to go to Bath if it’s easier for those living further away

I am waiting for some hospital scans which should be in the next couple of weeks so dare not arrange anything too soon. Fonthill Garden Centre would be perfect for me, though.
