Meet up or exchange ideas and views?

do any of you have meetup groups. I live in the area in a small community and would like to extend my friendship group

GN meetings tend to be great fun but not usually all about grandchildren. Lots to chat about.

I’ve got two grandchildren.Been doing care for 11 years.Parents are teachers so my involvement is fantastic but never overwhelming. Just feeling a bit sad / weird that they’re growing up so fast now and the nappy changing,feeding and planning their days has morphed into different care.They need us less but are still very loving. I guess it’s similar to when your own kids flee the nest.End of term melancholy!

Yes I am not too far away from you, but at the moment staying in and out of the heat. Have you been on GN for a while?
