andropause

Anybody any experience of the andropause (male menopause) due to lack of testosterone. Was it treated with hormones and was the treatment successful? DP suffering symptoms that fit with the description of the andropause but never heard of it before.

I had a friend who suffered an extreme form of this due to cancer surgery. He gave himself hormone injections twice a day.

Thanks Vampire DP is suffering extreme mood swings and the symptoms fit but doubt I can get him to a doctor

That's the problem with men. They won't go to the doctors when they should and suffer needlessly. Unfortunately we have to suffer with them hmm

Andropause which is also known as male menopause is a condition which is harmful for many men. Many of them might don't know about the issue but when it occurs, it complete stops doing any activity. However it should be treated soon otherwise it can really impact a lot.
