memory?????

I am 52 & I take it I am perimenopausal as having several symptoms one being poor memory.

Last week I parked up outside a shop went inside queued up paid for my shopping only to then reach in my bag for my car keys to hand to hubby. Could not find them anywhere, only to realise not only had I left them in the car but left it running as well.
