Dryness/atrophy

Hi, I’m post menopause aged 55 and have now begun to have problems with dryness. GP has out me on Vagifem and replens has anyone had any problems with these. My symptoms have lessened but the day after the Vagifem when going to the loo and wiping (sorry if it is TMI!) everything goes dry. After using the replens I get clumps if discharge has anyone else exoericome need this?

It’s not discharge loopsie. If you read the leaflet that comes with Replens you will see it is dead cells and this will lessen over time. If you go to search and type in vaginal atrophy you will probably find other threads on this subject.

Is prob is synthetic. Have you tried relactagel. My ph levels were out of whack and dr prescribed this. Its OTC and can be used till you are 90smile

I was prescribed something - can't remember what as it was several years ago. It helped, but I didn't want to continue with it. I read that sage tablets are helpful, so I tried them and they seemed to work. Might be worth a try.
