Love handles on my back!

I was horrified to see back fat in the dressing room mirrors! They are just under my bra and you could see them in the clothes I was trying on. Although I liked the tops, seeing the fat through the tops put me off!

My body is definitely changing shape as I approach/am in menopause. I have never had fat here before and I find when I lose weight it goes from my face first.

Do you have any tips on how I can lose back fat?

As with any fat anywhere, the only solution, I think, is to lose weight.

A few years ago, I lost about 4st in 4 months (Cambridge diet), and the back fat I had disappeared. I'm ashamed to say that I've gained almost all of the weight back (along with the back fat), so I'm on a diet again.

The fat you put on in menopause is difficult to lose, whilst still in menopause. Once through it, there’s nothing to say we shouldn’t return to how we were before, as long as we eat healthily, exercise etc. It is really annoying. I’m finding it difficult to get comfortable bras, and I’m assuming it’s due to weight gain in that area. It is hard to see.
