I've just got three months supply of Evorel 25. I had trouble in getting the last lot.

I know just how you feel Twinnytwin. Estradot has been out of stock for a very long time and managed to buy some from Tenerife last October. However, not going to Tenerife For a while! Doctor has prescribed Progynova instead and dreading the changeover in case it doesn’t suit me so can understand your elation!

@Liz1965 Have you, or any other members on here, used the gel? Think I need to ask this on my own thread.

You clean your teeth every day, perhaps apply moisturiser ? Honestly it couldn’t be simpler,, and you have more control over it. I bet you find that you prefer it. Best of luck!

Many years ago my HRT patch came off in a swimming pool. I waited until everybody was out of the pool and the water calm . I looked and saw my patch floating on the surface and was able to retrieve it.

There was a medical expert on tv talking about how more men than women are catching Covid19. She was speculating that oestrogen could be helping women to avoid the virus. I think they are looking into it.

The hospital was not allowing any surgical procedures but I did get a call from my consultant who recommended I use oestrogen gel.
It has been successful in counteracting the oestrogen deficiency symptoms but I hate having to think about applying it every single day as I have got used to only having to think about HRT twice a year.

I have an appointment for my oestrogen implant later this month. I’m dreading this being cancelled (though I would understand.)
I would have to switch to patches and have never found any suitable on the few occasions I have had to use them.
Fingers crossed.??

I was very lucky and managed to get enough to last me until May from a friend who was taken off them before surgery .I'll get to the chemist tomorrow and check what the situation is here before they go awol again

Hurrah, hurrah. I checked the British Menopause Society website yesterday and saw that my Evorel Conti patches have just become available again. Quick email to my surgery and picked them up today - 3 months' supply. I've really been suffering and have had three different HRT supplies since they ran out, all of which haven't suited me. Can you tell - I'm thrilled?
