No, it isn't news but it's printable. 'Celebrities' of one sort or another have always been around; a Norma Desmond moment, they just got smaller.

I love those supermarket magazines phoenix I never know who the people are or what shock, horror situation the headlines are referring to I suppose the people who buy them would never have heard of any of the people I read about. Don't knock Victoria though, a friend who is completely un starstruck (and had barely heard of them) tells me she and David are very nice people.

Nellie you are right! Again, the supermarket queue, a lot of first name only stuff, usually followed by lots of !!!!! I haven't got a clue, and to be honest I don't give a flying fig!

I haven't heard of most of these celebs! What make it worse is most magazines just use their first names as all their readers are best mates with them.
If there is one thing in our society I cannot understand its this obsession with so called celebrities.

My local paper keep giving free publicity to a woman who runs prostitutes in the area. I don't think it is news.
Her latest scam is a prostitution service for disabled people, masquerading as "therapy". Over the years they just keep giving her free editorial coverage. No point writing to the paper though is there...
There were also a couple of middle aged men who wanted to play golf a lot and thought they could fund it by "running an escort agency" . They got free publicity in the form of articles about them too.
